Some of our clients lack sufficient experience to enact effective project cost or quality controls or may require an on-site consultation to resolve specific problems, questions or details. Or, an Owner may wish to have more construction knowledge built into the design process by engaging us to perform a value engineering or constructability review. An Owner may also desire enhanced scheduling oversight in coordinating its various designers and contractors.
While owners may be very comfortable with their design team, they may need assistance in resolving specific construction details and conditions in their project or in finding qualified contractors to bid on and perform the work.
The value engineering and plan review process can help owners to identify construction costs and suggest alternate materials and methods that may not only save money but also enhance quality and performance. We can also assist owners in the selection of finish materials and palettes and in the selection of alternative “green” building materials and systems.
Many clients may desire construction closeout services to bring projects to a successful conclusion or periodic site inspection to evaluate contract performance. In all of these instances you can utilize our services on an “as needed” basis to act as your consultant at specific points in your project. In this way an owner can realize the benefit of our services without necessarily committing to large increases in expense by supplementing its own project management or design teams expertise as necessary on an item specific or consulting basis. The client has the option of tailoring its use of our consulting services to its needs in order to provide the best combination of project control and cost.
